Security-Time Entry

If the Time Entry module is selected in the Security screen, the following security permissions can be applied to it.

Allow Read 

Enables viewing a time entry.

Allow Update

Enables updating a time entry.

Allow Delete 

Enables deleting a time entry.

Allow Add New

Enables recording a new time entry.

Allow access to all Employees Time Entry

Enables access to time entry data of all other employees.

Disable Sending Time Entries to Excel

Does not allow you to send or export time entries to Excel.

Allow to Approve Time Entry

Enables you to approve time entry. The (A) Approve check box is available.

Allow Change Billable/Non-Billable

Enables changing the billable (B) status of a time entry to non-billable and vice-versa.

Allow Change

Enables you to make batch changes to time data.

Show Amount Spent During Entry

Enables you to see the amount spent data on the title bar of the screen.

Allow Print

Enables you to print a time report.

Allow Copy & Paste

Enables you to copy and paste time entry.

Allow Adjust Date beyond Global Setting restriction.

Allows you to enter a date beyond the date range specified in Global Settings.

Allow Edit Billed Time Entry

Enables editing of billed time entries. By default, BillQuick does not allow modification of billed entries.

Allow Edit Memo

Enables editing of time entry memo.

Show Bill Rate and Cost Rate

Enables you to see the Bill Rate and Cost Rate fields.

Allow Edit Approved Time Entry

Enables you to edit time entries after they are approved. By default, the approved time entries are not editable.

Allow Edit Activity Description

Enables you to edit activity description of the time entries.

Allow Access to Employees I Manage

Enables you to access and modify the time data of other employees you manage.

Allow Mark Time Entry as Overtime

Enables you to make an overtime entry.

Show Submit options when submitting time

Enables you to see submit options on the Submit-Approve screen.

Allow Approve My Time Entries

Enables you to approve your time entries. The (A) Approve check box is available.

Disable Employee Control

Checked, it does not implement the Employee Control settings in this screen.

Show WUD

Enables you to see the WUD values for time.

Show Amount

Enables you to see total amount for the time entry.

Allow Edit Amount

Enables you to edit the total amount for the time entry.

Hide Cost Rate

Does not allow you to see the cost rates.

Show Classification

Enables you to see the employee classification.

Allow Access to Custom 1/2/3/4/5/6

Enables you to access the Custom 1/2/3/4/5/6 fields.

Allow Access to Sheet View

Enables you to access the Sheet View screen.

Allow access Simple Time Entry

Enables you to access the STC screen.

Allow access to Calendar View

Enables you to access the Calendar View screen.

Apply Project Control on top of Employee Control

Enables you to override the Employee Control settings with those of Project Control. This setting applies to activities and expenses only.

Limit Editing to Self Only

Enables you to edit only your own time entries. However, with this setting, you can approve/reject/forward entries of other employees.

Hide Income Account

Does not allow you to view the Income Account associated with the time entries.

Hide Expense Account

Does not allow you to view the Expense Account associated with the time entries.

Allow access only to Time Entries of Projects I Manage

Enables you to access and modify the time entries of only those projects which you manage. You can also access time entries of the projects you are working on as an employee.

Allow to Mark Time Entry as Xtra

Allows a user to mark time entries as extra.
