Web Suite allows you to copy the selected time entries and paste them as is or copy them with some modifications. This can be done via the Paste Special feature. You can access this option on the Sheet View screen in the list view. Using this feature, you can paste copied time entries but change their date, IDs, etc.

 

The following fields display on the Paste Special screen:

 

Date to:

Date for the new time entry. You can select any other date from the drop-down calendar for the time entries being copied.

 

Project ID:

Project ID for the new time entry. You can select any other Project ID for the time entries being copied.

 

Employee ID:

Employee ID for the new time entry. You can select any other Employee ID for the time entries being copied.

 

Employee Group:

Employee Group ID for the new time entry. You can select an Employee Group for the time entries being copied.

 

Using the group option, you can log time for a particular group of employees working on the same project. While copying entries to an employee group, if the employee whose time entry is being copied is included in that group, his ID will be skipped. This is done so as to prevent duplicate entries.

 

Ignore Duplicate Entries in Group:

Select this option let Web Suite include duplicate entries while pasting new entries.

 

Increment time entry date by:

You can increment the time entry date by a desired number of days. For example, You might want to paste the selected entry but increase the copied date by 1 day or 2 days.

 

Decrement time entry date by:

You can decrement the time entry date by a desired number of days. For example, You might want to paste the selected entry but decrease the copied date by 1 day or 2 days.

 

Paste Special Button Panel

 

Help:

Opens the Web Suite Help in the Paste Special section.

 

OK:

Applies the changes to the copied time entries before pasting them.

 

Cancel:

Cancels any changes to the copied time entries and closes the screen.
