Manual Invoice - Time Details
This option opens the Time
Details screen that shows time entries and related information from the
Manual Invoice screen. These entries are relieved (status changed to Billed
in the time entry database) when the invoice is generated. Time Details
enables you to exclude and edit entries before processing an invoice.
You can also mark time entries as billed to remove them from future processing.
The
following are descriptions of fields on the Time Entry Details screen:
Memo:
Displays the memo
associated with a time entry, if any. You can also add a new memo
or edit an existing one for the selected time entry.
Select:
Click this to select a time entry in the Time
Entry Details grid.
Exclude:
If you want to exclude specific time entries
from processing on an invoice, you can check this option. This option
excludes time entries for only this billing session and still keeps them
in the work-in-progress.
Mark Billed:
You can check this option to mark the selected
time entries as billed, even if they are not processed with an invoice.
This removes the entries from the work-in-progress and future processing
of invoices as well.
Date:
This column displays the date of each time entry.
Project ID:
The project against which a time entry is recorded.
Employee ID:
Employee who performed the task or activity
charged to the project.
Activity:
Activity ID or task performed by an employee
(or vendor) against a project.
B-Hours:
Displays the billable hours worked on a particular
activity. You can change it here.
Description:
The description of the activity being performed.
This is brought forward from the Activity
Codes screen but you can change it here.
Cost Rate:
The cost rate of the selected time entry. The
rate is automatically brought forward based on the project's settings
and rate
hierarchy.
Bill Rate:
The bill rate of the selected time entry. The
rate is automatically brought forward based on the project's settings
and rate hierarchy. However, you can change it here.
Amount:
Displays the billable amount as calculated in
the Manual Invoice screen.
OT:
Checked, the time entry is flagged as overtime.
This is the extra time worked by an employee on an activity beyond the
standard hours.
Xtra:
Checked, the time entry is flagged as extra
time. This is the extra time worked by an employee beyond the contract
amount.
Billable:
The Billable check box indicates whether the
time entry is billable or not. This field is editable and hence you can
check or uncheck it to mark an entry as billable or non-billable.
VB:
Indicates whether the time entry is related
to a vendor bill or not. Records which are associated with vendor bills
display. On double-clicking, it opens the Vendor
Bills screen.
Time Entry Details Button
Panel
Mark All Billed:
If you would like to mark all the time entries
as 'Billed', click this button.
Exclude All:
If
you would like to exclude all time entries displayed on the grid from
processing, click this button.
Clear All:
Clears all the selected time entries
in the grid.
Help:
Opens the Web Suite 2014 Help in the Time Entry
Details section.
Save:
Saves all the time
entries in the grid.
Close:
Closes the Time Entry Details screen.
