Accessible from the Invoice Review, Project and Global Settings screen, the Invoice Template screen allows you to specify different invoice templates for different types of project contracts. By default, Web Suite uses the default invoice and statement templates assigned by contract type on Global Settings-Templates screen. Thus, when you choose a contract type for a project, the invoice and statement type is also chosen.

 

To choose an alternative invoice template, you can set the invoice template at the project level or invoice level. To select an invoice template from any of the screens, click image\ebx_-1619864244.gif to open the Invoice Template screen. It displays a list of invoice templates in a tree structure categorized under different folders. These are based on the various contract types available in Web Suite such as Hourly Invoices, Fixed Invoices, Cost Plus Invoices, etc.

 

Invoices

Click to open the tree structure. You can choose the desired invoice templates from any of the invoice folders.

 

As you select an invoice template on the left, a sample preview displays on the right of the screen. Using the image viewer options at the bottom, you can preview the image according to your preference.

 

 

Click the plus + icon to zoom-in or minus - icon to zoom-out the image. You can also choose the 1:1 zoom level to view the image at 100% or the best-fit box icon to view the entire image.

 

Web Suite provides a shortcut menu on the right preview panel with the options to assign the selected invoice template to Standard Invoice, Joint Invoice, or Manual Invoice.

Add Custom Invoices:

You can add any of your custom invoices to Web Suite using this option and then set that as a default invoice template at the global/project/invoice level. It opens an Attach File dialog box that allows you to select and add your custom invoice. These new invoices are saved under the Custom Invoices folder in the Invoice Template screen.

 

Help:

Opens the Web Suite Help in the Invoice Template section.

 

OK:

Saves the selected invoice template and closes the screen.

 

Cancel:

Cancels the changes and closes the screen.
